The Secular Jewish Humanists of Los Angeles meet the second Sunday of each month at 11:30 A.M. at the Felicia Mahood Center, 11338 Santa Monica Boulevard, Los Angeles, California, 90025. Our programs feature either a speaker or video presentation dealing with current events, community affairs or vital Jewish topics, followed by discussion. The meetings also include business issues, with reports by appropriate members. We end each meeting with a freylekhe coffee and
cake time.

Interspersed with our meetings are holiday celebrations at the Felicia Mahood Center or homes of members. With an inspiring Haggadah and a delicious meal, thirty-four of our members enjoyed our annual festive Sedar celebration on Saturday, April 7, 2007. Between meetings, our video/ music committee presents films and musical programs at the homes of members. We also have a movie group that meets each month and discusses a current movie of significance.
